Wow you are pitiful, my dude. Apparently I need to define these words for you. Yes, shortsighted can mean not able to see far. However, there is a second definition meaning lack of foresight. Nearsighted has only the one definition. Thus, the two terms are not interchangeable. Anger is the base emotion of displeasure, usually stemming of antagonism. Rage is the same emotion scaled exponentially into a violent state. Anger can exist without violence while rage cannot. Again, the two terms are not interchangeable.
