Nothing's wrong with simple. Pancakes are simple too, yet you'd be hard pressed to find someone who'd say no to a hot plate of them.
That said, there's a lot of eyes on you now. Hope you got something cooking, even if it's simple.
No one had ever compared me to a pancake before, but thanks, now I feel more inspired… and also hungrier.
