I got an error upon opening the game after extracting; "The following component(s) are required to run this program: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime"

any way to fix this?

You need Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime.

You can download it from official Microsoft website

Does it need a specific version? I installed and tried a bunch of different ones but can't get it to work under any conditions

I'm so sorry. In upcoming public version 0.3.5 everything should work. (Not in the current 0.3.5 version from patreon)
