It’s been a year and a month since I stopped playing DF-1.21.1ce and I’d like to explain why for those considering playing this. I made a certain decision at a certain point of the game that I was curious about. Not expecting the worst, the game hit me pretty hard. I felt awful. I did not like what I did. And I haven’t launched the exe since last June.
In hindsight, I love this. I love that a writer got to me. That they made me feel more empathy for the characters than I already normally do. That they somehow handled the topic and scene well enough for me to regret my actions. And no, I will not reload a previous save. One day I will launch DF again and accept the consequences of my actions. Even from her.

Problematic Elements:
All of that being said, the writing has some typical bs that I’ve seen quite often in adult visual novels: [redacted per Community Rule #2]. I don’t expect light-skinned males to notice any of this, but everybody else probably will. Keep that in mind before deciding to dive into this experience. Without those three issues, that I’ve only noticed 4-5 cases of so far (e.g.: Isaac, mom, and sister), the only other issue I’ve had might’ve been the grammar but it’s been too long to be sure. 🤷🏿♂️
