Cool as fk, but it would be brilliant if Kurumi had a combo system like Dante's. I was thinking about it earlier, especially when playing Date A Live: Spirit Pledge back when it was available globally. A game like that could’ve been amazing — I mean, imagine a spin attack, City of Devouring Time, or even some new move. Combos like that would be so cool.
I'm playing a game now (about 20 minutes in). I'm trying to pull off some kind of combo — teleport in, shoot in the face, shoot again, and finish them off. If she had some kind of attack to launch enemies into the air, that would help a lot with chaining more combos(The game really needs to show what kind of attack kit she has. I only figured out her moves after spamming random bullshit on the gamepad.). Right now, when I keep trying to use that teleport-like move, I sometimes fall underground and then manage to get out by just jumping non-stop.
After getting S and A Tier ranks (1st and 2nd lvl), I wanted to exit — but either I couldn’t find the exit, or the game just doesn’t have one. I dunno. Still, it’s a cool game. Feels great. It really shows how much you can do — level up, story progression (I remember stuff from the ranobe like Jabberwocky and someone else — the Doll Master — and how awesome they were as bosses).
P.S. I’ve been watching Twitter — you know what kind of stuff a game like this really needs.
