dude thats how some of the old games are turn on xp share

(1 edit)

no they litterly arent. EXP share thins out the EXP shared between pokemon and turning it off puts it all on one pokemon so you should earn more. EXP share was introduced in gen 5 and only worked between one other pokemon.
the remakes of gen 2 and 3 had it between the entire party. turning it off would make the one pokemon you battle with gain more exp so you could grind easier for ONE specific pokemon.

Actually, the Exp Share has always been in the game since Gen 1. It was called the EXP ALL in Gen 1 and it wasn’t a held item. It distributed 50% of Exp gained between all non-fainted Pokemon in the party. It was renamed to Exp Share in Gen 2 and became a held item.

Yeah this. Gen 5 definitely did not introduce it lmao

Well no matter the game is just full of bugs and whatnot. yall are ignoring the point and focusing on one singular thing.

Haven’t played the demo yet so I have no comment on the bugs, just wanted to clear up the exp share info. You are certainly correct about levelling up individual pokemon faster by turning it off which I did not know.

If you have caught 50 or more different types of Pokémon, Professor Oak's aide will give you EXP. ALL at the end of Route 15. you didnt get it right off the bat and back then it couldve been missed.
In newer games you start off with it most of the time or get it really early

Yep! It’s quite common that most people don’t know this since the games are old and even if you have played them it isn’t common knowledge that the EXP ALL even exists!

this was supposed to be to a comment saying yoir is too hard which she isn't I literally beat her with a vulpix I found
