the more recent wand changes have been nice, making things play more smoothly and survivably. i kind of wish the miser shot for the cards was the default for the base, non-upgraded weapon, with its faster reload. I tend to use the wand the most out of all the weapons, with the others being very situational, but i wouldn't say the wand is op, now. could something like the wand's charge work for the cards? holding fire for a weaker but steadier flow of cards.. would be nice for rooms with a bunch of dolls alongside stronger enemies you want full blasts for, and would present a little more variety while spreading ammo consumption.

edit: maybe i'm still not using tomes enough. even considering that,  it feels like ammo flow holds you back a bit until you get a backpack and fill it.
