Incredibly charming little game, I could almost play this one for hours. This really does nail the feel of an arcade experience but I think the big issue is just that it stops escalating a little too quickly. After a point I had thousands of score and it felt like the balls weren't getting any faster or increasing in intensity enough, and I also felt frustrated by my low movement speed (but not in a way that made it harder for me to dodge lol). For some reason my brain kept thinking of Nokia Snake and how you're forced to always be moving in that game, maybe something like that here in exchange for faster movement and a bigger escalation would be crazy. Also, I kept accidentally skipping the story cuz' the "continue" button was the same as shoot and there was no cooldown so I'd just blaze through the text the moment it suddenly appeared lol. Fun game!
