alternatively you can add something like a 3 clue system, you lleft the cookbook as it's, but instead fo telling them to make a "simple burger" the bird said "give me Meat", while the time run out it give you another clue like "give me somethig Simple", and las clue comes when you don't have time to look at the cookbook.
