thank you, and thanks to f/d recs for notifying me about this. i've been following them for a bit but somehow didn't catch that you were chch-based!? i have many thoughts after reading the bc summary for laundromat, and i'd def understand if you don't have such a penchant for playing/touring anymore, but if you do play here i'd love to come listen. i've been in such a rut for a long time but reading about how laundromat was the fruit of an attempt to come back to the simple joy of creating has me a lil inspired, so thank you <3 congrats n best of luck
p.s. game is rad, loved the escherian metamorphosis vibe of the run-up to the final encounter

yup i'm chch based!! returning to the initial joy of creating is a constant battle, especially when you're balancing it with trying to further a music career, trying to play shows and break even, also wanting to be validated by everyone else, looking at your own streaming numbers... sometimes that stressful stuff is necessary but sometimes it's also pointless!! figuring out a way to find enjoyment and purpose without regard to success i think is important (and also maybe the best path to success??? i dunnno i'm not successful haha)
