there is no story just long tekst
First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to engage with our visual novel and for leaving your honest feedback. We saw your comment, and we want to address it directly — not with defensiveness or excuses, but with the respect and transparency that every player deserves.
You're absolutely right: our visual novel currently lacks the depth of story that one would reasonably expect from the genre. Visual novels, at their core, are about narrative — about being drawn into a world, connecting with characters, and feeling like your choices matter. When that narrative is thin, or altogether absent, it undermines the very heart of what makes the medium special. We failed to deliver on that essential promise, and for that, we're truly sorry.
Your comment hit hard — but in the best way. It was a wake-up call. We poured a great deal of effort into the visual style, interface, and music, but somewhere along the way, the story itself became secondary. We let aesthetics and mechanical polish take the lead, and in doing so, we overlooked what should have been our central pillar: a compelling, meaningful narrative experience.
This wasn’t our intent. Our vision was always to tell a story worth following — one that would resonate with players on an emotional level. But visions alone don’t make a game great. Execution matters, and in this case, we fell short. We understand now that releasing a visual novel without a clear and engaging story is not only disappointing to readers like yourself — it feels like a broken promise.
We’re not giving up. In fact, your comment has reignited the fire behind this project. We’re taking a step back to reassess, rewrite, and rebuild. That means dedicating real time and care into fleshing out the characters, their motivations, and the world they inhabit. We want our next update — or whatever we work on next — to be something that people like you can connect with, invest in, and remember.
Thank you again, Mr 58005 for calling us out. We needed it. Your criticism was fair, and we respect it deeply. If you ever decide to return and give the story another shot, we hope you’ll find something that finally feels worth your time.
Sincerely,
The Dev Team
