For an H-game, showing the MC's face was a strange choice.

The appeal is fantasy projection - we're supposed to be the protagonist. Now instead of immersion, we get:

  1. Shatter immersion (Now players spectate instead of participate)
  2. Limit appeal (Your ‘canon’ face ≠ everyone’s fantasy)
  3. Invite uncanny valley (50% of The reviews will just roast his chin)

The Math is Simple: 🔹 Hidden MC = Player projects themselves mean More downloads 🔹 Visible MC = Player judges your art skills → ‘Why’s his nose like that?’

Patch This With:

  • ‘Hide Face’ checkbox (5 lines of code, infinite goodwill)
  • OR double down and let us customize his face (…you won’t)

—Signed, Every Player Who Now Giraffe Headcanons Amnesia"

At least give us a toggle option to hide his face. Not all of us want to play as Giraffe-kun.

(tip: When your MC’s face makes players go ‘…oh’ instead of ‘OHHH’—you’ve chosen poorly.)

  The Fix?

  • Face toggle (Let players choose)
  • Dynamic lighting (Shadows = free atmosphere)
  • Helmet/mask options (Even Skyrim knew this)

the game is good (For a normal horny man) but this... face (IsNOT good for a normal horny man)

edit: Bonus WTF: Why reveal his face mid-game? If you must show him, do it at the start—not after players already imagined someone better.
