FUN GAME! very simple and very fun! sniffing around for all the secrets was also a lot of fun. the visuals are nice resprites of the original stuff from deltarune and the soundtrack is CRAZY good remixes that i really enjoyed listening to. if i had one complaint it'd maybe be that the dash used to hurt enemies more often than not leads to you getting hurt yourself, because you're still inside them once your invincibility wears off, so it's pretty much always better to do the standard attack. there were times i was able to slip through them though so maybe i just need to get good? i can't wait for what else this game has to offer! :3
Thank you for playing! I was actually hoping we would get the chance to rework the way the dash deals damage, but it just didn't get brought up before PepFef wanted to release the demo. Right now it's essentially a small hitbox stuck to the front of your hurtbox, so it's very possible to end up inside whatever you're dashing towards. I think the idea was to not trivialize the enemies as obstacles by just letting you dash through them, but we're definitely considering better ways to manage that and communicate what the dash is meant for.
