The main site says the game is 100% off i.e. free but when I go to claim and download it the only option is to buy it. Is it free or is it a mistake?

Hi, it was free for 48h to help people staying home with the COVID-19 situation, the promotion ended just a little bit ago. It's possible itch.io hasn't updated all the site to update the price, sorry for confusion.

It's now at the regular price.

I assume there will be no further sale for this game, after the "Games to help you stay inside" discount? (Maybe this time a bit longer than before.)

Hi, no plans right now on itchio as the free promotion ended. it’s having a promo on Steam right now in case you are interested, I know it’s a competitor store but just for transparency that there’s an on going sale right now.
