I decided to post this as its under bugs/suggestions. Sorry for the wall of text I will be leaving.

There will be "spoilers" at the suggestions, please be warned for other players reading this.


The bugs:

When the nun/boss at any phase starts the warning, when you press escape, there's a chance to crash your game for some reason, I've tried it thrice and it happened to me twice

And then for the holy water bottle, there's a window where if an enemy is "emerging" from solid ground that the bottle cannot go through but its explosion can, even if the enemy is hit by the explosion, which I assume is that circle, not the cloud, they will be immune to your attacks unless you move


The suggestions:

So far melee has not been worth it, the revolver deals so much more damage and it feels like its just the best way to kill a boss, with the double bullets upgrade it just kills a boss so easily. I'm not suggesting a nerf on the revolver but that would be fine too, but I just hope melee gets buffed against bosses to maybe deal its full damage since it just feels so weak right now, and its not even any better for crowd clearing which the prayer beads or even the holy water bottle just does better, and there's much less risk.

As for the sniper, it really falls flat because its not an actual projectile but a hit-scan, but I guess it'd take over the crossbow's role. Still, it deals abysmal damage and I don't see its use unless you maybe nerf the revolver.


That's all for now, sorry for writing so much but I don't have any other way of expressing my opinions than yapping like this, I do not mean to berate the developers behind this game and I hope these come off as constructive criticism even though I'm probably shitty at it, still, I love the game so far but I just wish it was more balanced. Maybe that's just me but oh well, I'm overstaying my welcome.

A lot has happened in the meantime.

We've been carefully listening to all your feedback from both the itch and Steam demo versions, and have undertaken major revisions to the game.

We’re working hard to fix the bugs you mentioned (such as the issue with splash damage not applying).

We've also made melee weapons more viable and carried out a complete rebalance of ranged weapons.

Additionally, we have thoroughly re-evaluated the stage balance.

It’s uncertain if this revised version will be released as another demo, but we’re confident that we’ll be able to launch the full version soon.
