for some reason the game won't let me do anything all it ways when I try to start is "Template file not found" and idk what to do

Hello! Sorry for this problem. What version are you using (nightly/pro/lite), and what OS are you running it on? If it's Mac, unfortunately the only way to install and run at the moment is using the itch.io desktop app (https://itch.io/app).
