Does text appear after click? Or you have sounds of symbols but don't see the text?
The sound is there, but text does not appear. I don't know if this would help but. When a character didn't have a text I created another character slot. Though it still didn't work. I created like three Character slot with same problem. And I just let it be for awhile. Then like after many hourst I opened the game and I accidentally pressed the first character. It's in the bar after the tutorial. And wouldn't you know it the text appeared. And so I played it. I also go to main menu and tried the other character slot. But it is still bugged. So I played the first character slot.
And I got to the toilet and fought the toilet keeper. There is still text when I was talking to the toilet keeper. Then in battle, text disappeared again. I think the problem is in the battle area. It soft lock text and when the fight is over there will be no text through the entire run(?) it's just a speculation. I hope this helps.
