Dear developer, This game is very detailed and well made, clearly there is a lot of effort put into it. You should completely ignore anyone saying more frequent updates and so on or saying production isn't as fast or as good. To be brutally honest people will never be satisfied with the speed or amount there will always be a request to add or remove and so on, and as someone who has tested a lot of similar of games of this criteria i can tell you from now without calling out other developers you are faster than 99% of developers and even whole companies and teams in terms of updating.
Some devs which come out with extremely minor update every couple of YEARS and some completely abandon the project. And for the amount of stuff there is in this game, this game is basically charity work, 13.50$ only? for a product this well made that even has animations and such. Personally i think this game definitely has the potential to be one of the best or maybe even THE BEST game on the platform when its done or after a lot of huge updates and perfect product and can easily sell for 30-40$ like a lot of games on steam that offer WAYYY less content, it can be a super fun and unique experience well worth that much. You should make huge leaps between updates and take frequent breaks, give the game a lot of thought, after all products made with the least stress and most time tend to have the best quality.
I already know from your Developer logs how tiresome it is to develop something like this as well as so much pressure on yourself and from the community itself, Now you probably think that you will lose momentum and traffic to the game if you take a year (or any amount of extended time) per update for example and that's true but you have to imagine the big idea and vision, lose a little bit of current good to gain the future best, endure whatever negative feedback that might come, but i am saying in terms of a worst case scenario i am sure a lot of the community would understand and some maybe wouldn't. Speaking from personal insight, never has a very well product gone unnoticed, they always blow up. If the product is genuinely a super well made game no matter how indie and how unknown it almost always does extremely well. For example Monster girl island, this game was made by a single man and he spent years making it and published it (and then abandoned it) and to this day this game remains the top game of the H category (on steam) despite hundreds of games that were made after it still not gaining as much support because the product was genuinely well made and a unique experience even if it is abandoned for years now. Fans replayed it again and again, bought the DLCs and followed the game dev for years and so on, you get the point.
I genuinely think this game has the potential to be an iconic game on the frontpage of itch and maybe even steam garnering tens of thousands of players. Just relax, think more and take more time with the updates (Months to a year maybe). Great game, i genuinely hope you read this :)
