HERETIC ROUTE HAS ME RUINED BYE THEY ARE MEAN IN THIS ROUTE i personally enjoyed the other route better, but this route is very interesting too. the zealot route was just too good and prolly my fav.
edit: okay so i finished the heretic route and honestly i am impressed with how both the routes have more stuff going on that's different from the other. like unlike most games i have played, and trust me i played a lot, i have noticed that the choices here don't just change a line or two. oh no, no, there's actually a lot of effort put into this. not to mention the amazing storyline. overall, one of the best i have played, 10/10.
edit:after the update, and rework, I don't know what to feel about this. I feel like the story has lost it's depth. not only that but the seggy scenes are no more (is it just a me problem or did you guys notice the scenes just kinda time skip now and no description is given compared to before? is it added to patreon?) the lore has changed, we no longer talk to the woman we did talk to in the begininng. so overall this all kinda seems a little flat compared to before I guess. my fav route was zealot because of all the build up and depth, slow burn and all. here you don't have an option to choose not to sleep with him. you just have to for the plot. I get it's part of the plot but it would've been nice if we still had that slow burn and build up thing before having to choose. the story would seem more in depth that way.
