I finally got the chance to run this with my group after absolutely forever… and it was a hit! I did not play the first one but we all agreed that mad libs TTRPG was a stroke of genius. we had a hilarious time but everyone stayed interested!! it was super easy to run as a GM, and even though i came in feeling uneasy with ultralite rules, i left with a better understanding of how to run games as a whole (and with very little prep.) Incredible design, absolutely inspired, and (spoilers) our party ended up saving themselves from the canyon at the end with the priest’s most insane ability we had been laughing about since the beginning: “thou shalt not rotate”
