Do other renpy games crash on you too?
Not sure if it applies, but I fixed my crashing by turning down the core speed by 1. I've got an i9 and the stability issues are impacting everything. Some renpy crashed, others didn't. A few refused to start at all. I downloaded Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and just reduced the speed by one. No other impacts to larger titles and it sorted all my renpy issues. Best of luck.
