Random question... but how do I get the characters that are shown in the screenshots? Are the unlocks, or are they not in the game right now?
They already are in the game, accessible in the character select menu. Did you download the latest version?
I did, and I even looked through the files of the game... there are no sprites for some characters like Phoebe. The only option is the blank templet. I will also note: I have never downloaded any version besides 1.107.
there is a setting that changes the characters, I don't know if that's it but i think it's legacy spreites in the in-game setting

and the customs skins? also in the options
Customs are there for those that have them. It seems like the default skins are what's missing.

One fix would be sending the missing files... jk. Is there a previous version I can download somewhere to compare the files?
Did you leave Custom Sprites on in the Options menu? You won't be able to play as the original characters while they're enabled.
