This game is a WORK OF ART. A MASTERPIECE. Dark, not for those who can't handle the upsetting themes - but so unapologetically and astutely true to life. I've seen many people - myself included - who act like Oliver, Annie or the others. This game handles oft - abused and flanderised heavy topics so insightfully and sensitively. It doesn't back down from showing you the complexities, the myriad shades of grey in abusive dynamics - the damage caused but also the shreds of hope that keep victims from hating abusers often - instead of the boring, daft black and white takes I see everywhere else. As well as the subtle but sure ways in which small vices, acceptance of emotional dishonesty, acts of negligence or 'papering over cracks' end up costing us. You, author, whether you realise it or not - are a genius and, believe me, a RARE talent in crafting a story. There are very few who could have come up with something so intricate, realistic and impactful.
