i thought that even though it wasn't explicitly mentioned it's pretty clearly an open thing not cheating or anything of that sort, and the bf didn't want to because he'd rather cuddle and have a cute valentine's day in...?
The boyfriend clearly is okay with it they're probably open/poly and the boyfriend was the one who turned down doing anything. Why do you feel the need to make up problems with fictional relationships
