Very interesting read! There's a lot of stylistic uniqueness to this, in how it's put together and in character design. It definitely was a breath of fresh air from the monotony of a lot of other VNs out there at the moment. My only critique would be to work on your typos but, otherwise, incredible work to crank out in a month! Hope to see more from you.
Thanks for all the kind words! :) It was a primary goal of mine to create something that challenges the usual flow of more traditional romance VNs. Not that those don't have their merit. But I also think there's plenty of room for this community to welcome in other types of "weirder" relationships/romance dynamics.
I haven't gotten around to Scavenger yet, but Lavender Town is a favorite of mine for that very reason as well! It's got such a wonderfully unique style to it :)
I've been working hard on releasing a second Chapter for this. Which will also fix all of the typos in this jam version because, woof, yeah... there's quite a few. The perils of doing an entire game in a month haha.
