I should have explained more in depth and I just saw it again it is using a sin wave just make a variable in a loop adding a number each time than make a sin of that number that whole thing times somewhere between 5 and 20 and then make a non textured sprite that makes around 50 clones of itself each clone going clone ID above the original and then each clone does math you just need to look at to get. Ok I give up explaining all this so just go into the scratch link provided under the project and look in sprite7 for a huge move block under when this starts as a clone thats how you do it plus what I explained above (ish).
