I understand how you feel. I've developed a mindset of making games that I would personally want to play.
I think that judging games for being "good" or "bad" is kinda lame in and of itself. There are a lot of things I am still interested in even if they got totally lambasted by critics because I still want to see how they could've worked out. It's the imagination that counts the most for me, and when my imagination gets spit on, it's almost debilitating.
