Im sorry to hear that! It was built in ren'py, which Im still new to, so I don't know what could be causing that unfortunately... All the game code can be read within the 'game' directory if you are worried about it being a virus.
virus scans use heuristics and other attributes to determine if something is a virus. It is far from impossible that one would give a false positive(better than a false negative). I am on windows 10 and was using the default anti-virus. The scan in question resulted in "Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml" which seems to be a known issue with RenPy games. There is lots of documentation for removing the issue.
