It feels like a technical marvel that you got a game like this running on Pico-8. I can definitely feel the inspiration drawn from Mindustry, but the biomechanical take really gives it a unique flavour. I like it.
I have run across one bug and it's quite significant. While in the delete tool, if confirm is held down, but cancel is also hit afterwards, the delete command and its coords will remain buffered in memory. Then next attempt to delete something, it will consider it to a box selection delete (starting from the point of the buffered command to the corner of the current delete attempt) and potentially wipe out a large portion of the base.
This seems to affect all placement tools but the delete command results in the worst of consequences
