not really, the main definition of NTR, for Netorare usualy (because there's Netorase and Netori too), Netorare is when the wife, girlfriend, ir interest of the main character is being swept away by a third party being involved with him in a physical relationship, starting to deveop feeeling for the other

Netori is the opposite, you are the one stealing a woman by forcing a love interest into a woman already in a relationship

and Netorase is about the same, but they do it willingly

from what i know, the "Neto" imply that they, by a way or another, willingly or not, discover that the other party is cheating (welp, cheating is when the relationship with a third party is hidden)

so, evoking the visceral feeling of jealousy would rather be Netorase, that play in it, with the mc wanting or being ok with his partener to bang with someone else, the feeling of jealousy being probably the exiting part for him (or else why would they accept something like that)

usualy NTR are just tagged NTR, but there's 3 category of it so, people tend to think NTR mean only one thing

well, all in all, Netorase is moist certainly the less worst of them, because all concerned people are willing, though NTR is wrong in every way

Hold on,

I do (mostly) agree with your definitions of Netorare, Netori, and Netorase (always more details and fans arguing over them), I feel like you're only using the abbreviation NTR for Netorare.

Netorare, Netori, and Netorase all fall under the larger category of NTR because the abbreviation can be used for all of them. There are even more sub genres which don't follow the naming trend of NTR, but are meant to evoke similar emotions (GTR and BSS)

regardless of whether or not people accept BSS under the NTR umbrella, the fact remains that in the end; It's all about sex with "other people" that makes someone feel bad, whether it be an innocent boy losing his track star girlfriend to the rapist coach, or the guy who has a bully using meat rod magic hypnotism to make everyone he loves start to hate him and think he's pathetic.

NTR is just way easier to say, and everything else is semantics.

"the main definition"

What did I say about being too caught up in definitions again? Also, no. The "feeling" aspect of it is present in Netorare. Actually, much more. Since Netorase is actively sharing your partner to others. That one, however, does require some sort of relationship beforehand, mechanically speaking. Netori is being in the perspective of the one "stealing." They're all different fantasies for different types of people.

Netorare is about the gut-wrenching feeling of someone you desire gets "taken" from you. Humiliation, jealousy, and, at times, rage.

Netorase is having others desiring that someone, and them acting on it. Hotwifing, basically. The fantasy is the openness of it. The "reclaiming" part is a frequent addition to that, too, though not necessarily.

Netori is the fantasy of "taking" that from someone else.

There are overlap at times. There are Netorase that devolves to Netorare. Big surprise. And there are Netorase who fantasize the Netorare aspect of it. Netori and Netorare's connection is obvious. But they're all different things.

But, yeah, as someone who's been in too much internet to actually know these things, here are the "definitions" you can use if you're really set on having one. Ones that are actually accurate to what they represent.
