Production quality of these is pretty crazy honestly - the Title theme had me roped in almost immediately. Gorgeous ambient pads and some soft piano to really evoke some feel as the piece progressed. Nice little bits of sound-design and ear candy scattered around the space to keep things interesting.
Beyond These Glades is absolutely gorgeous - effortlessly capturing a playful but determined kind of vibe. Loving the understated percussion in this to accompany the piano, guitar and soft synths. There's some really unique about this track - telling a story but also roping in the listener to be part of said story. Loving the mix of instruments in this and articulation is beautiful.
Stranger Danger, as per the title, is a step away from the previous two tracks. I was curious to see how you'd handle tension and I can't say I'm disappointed. Great orchestral work here, plenty of motion and each element is layered well. Hefty silence at the end to really capitalize on that ending crescendo.
Beyond Help follows in similar footsteps for the first second or so before opening up into a more contemplative piece. There's some definitive tension at play here, but not oppressively so. Piano work in this is great - loving the soft hint of delay to really have each note ring out just a little longer than it needed to, furthering selling that tension. The use of reversed elements toward the end is really well done, and complements the feel of the piece incredibly. It felt like revisiting the first half-again but in a very different headspace.
Lastly, Reprieve does not disappoint. Orchestration is in full swing off the bat here with some wonderfully diverse articulation and more of that understated percussion from Beyond These Glades earlier. Melodies here are really pretty and so soft. I'd have loved if this was just a little longer, to really get lost in it for a while.
Great work as a whole - these were interesting to listen to and could easily fit within a game. I think the first two tracks in particular really stuck out to me as something special. Best of luck!
