I'm on the mac version. The game won't launch at all (I did use chmod +x to fix the executable and I also bypassed the unregistered developer warning.) The game seems to just crash whenever I try to launch it.
I'm in the same boat, did you find a way around it?
I downloaded the version from the itch.io launcher that worked.
Not too sure what would cause that, I'll try to look into it.
