Voices of Eternum Review
Things I liked:
- The mod is extremely entertaining and adds a lot of funny and interesting stuff. It's clear that this is not only a VA mod, since the extra ambiance sounds make the game feel more alive and immersive.
- The ability to change the individual voices and ambiance sounds volumes is a nice feature for those who want either only the ambience sounds or only the narrator, or just want to tweak specific volumes around.
- I'm not a fan of VA work in AVNs, since it sort of ruins the freedom of having a personalized voice for each character in my head. This mod, however, not only lets you straight up mute everything individually, but also only works on voices of characters that, while being important to the story and reoccurring, are not fully on the main character list to the point of being so present that the voice acting would get old.
- The Narrator especially adds a different aspect and perspective into the game by explaining how he feels everything Orion feels but without being able to do anything about it. I also like how he very subtly hints about the correct choices.
Things I didn't like:
- The Narrator and the Founder sound a bit too similar sometimes, which could get a bit confusing if both would participate in a scene at the same time.
Overall the mod is really good and I can't wait to keep playing the rest of the updates!
