First of all I am so happy that I got a reply from you 🤩 and your game is amazing keep up the good work I can feel all the energy and love poured in it 💓 And to answer your question about Kai it was at the first encounter of the character the design the aesthetic this misty aura about him the choice of color, of facial features and of pieces of clothes but then it was his mannerism his way with words and his impartiality even if he was part of Helios group he stayed faithful to his own ideals (of course this is based on my humble understanding of the game so far) it was the delicate contact with the mc too he felt real like a soul unique but not tainted like the others he was beautiful with all what the word carry of meanings 
And about Shyloh it's of course the misunderstood outcast position first then it was his desperate expressions and efforts to keep the mc safe then there was some genuine within his personality he was true to his emotion quite transparent and also it's the care he held for the mc the admiration the pedestal he put their "goddess" into and desperately trying to keep her from the two faced heroes and there was this element that before the mc got projected into the painting it's how she affectionately took her tools to make him more beautiful with beautiful wings it's this affection i guess that made his first encounter so endearing he was so vulnerable before his goddess and so anticipating and aaaaaa omg I'm sorry I'm getting emotional i guess I know my favorite character now 💘
