A neat idea making effectively a rhythm game out of sword parrying which is easily understandable, although the game treatment was lacking in detail. 

The game idea seems feasible to implement, although you should nail down ASAP the different enemy types/boss that was floated as an idea. You might like to work out if enemies should come from more than one direction in order to really test the player and keep a variation in gameplay. 

I note that you've posted your devlog as a blog post rather than a "Devlog" within an itch project. You'll need an itch project for Assignment 3 for not only the builds of the game, but to collect your weekly devlogs as well.
