I feel like screaming into the void this GAMEE BROO. It's so good <33 Everyone did such amazing work on it. There were times where I guessed what was going to happen and jumped for joy when they did LMAO. Don't even get me STARTED on the small details of the game I could go on forever. I love the pictures on the cork board in the office, plus the small mug-mats on the table. I was churning my brain over why red and green mats specifically but then it was explained and I was like OOHH that's really clever.

Reigen slamming the door on the player when they come to his place vs Serizawa holding the door open for us was also a really fun thing, because while it's not exactly hidden from us, it's literally the way they interpret their feelings for one other. Reigen tries to shoot down his feelings, shut them out, ignore them (initially) and look the other way - hence slamming the door on us. But Serizawa fully welcomes the player inside, holding the door open, he accepts them with no if, ands, or buts. He knows he likes Reigen, and he is openly accepting that by literally opening up (the door) for us. Also, when Reigen mentions why he still runs... oh boy. That was a very wonderful gut punch!

Maybe I'm grasping at threads here but I feel like Reigen's talk with the client in ch.1 about doing something for yourself without expecting anything from it, if felt like when he was talking to the player after Mob's phone call (If I remember correctly?). Maybe it was before, but it was around there when he reveals that he did the litter pick-up around the park because he wanted to feel like he did something to earn how the others saw him. I know the two are very different in their motives, but I just thought about connecting those dots whether they even are or aren't connected anyways.

A couple last things, so not to turn this into an essay (sorry haha), I love the Reigen hand gesture animation, it's so cute!!! Plus, I may or may not have overreacted slightly when Reigen brought up going to Seri's place to cook BY HIMSELF. I felt like a proud mum seeing that. Also, the date of release was on March 31st, Serizawa's birthday, and if that was intentional or not, I love it.

I've been around for months now and had had the demo sitting on my desktop for so long so if you couldn't tell by the 3 and a bit paragraphs, I'm quite excited by the release. <3

Ahh oh gosh thank you so much for playing and sharing your thoughts!! The door slam vs door open felt like such a fun and simple way to show the very different mindsets they have! And also yes releasing on wawa's birthday was intentional! The demo came out on Reigen's bday so it felt like a nice way to bring it full circle 😁. Thank you again, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!
