as is often the case with game-jam games the bigest thing that sadens me is that it doesn't get to expand on it's gameplay
right out of the gate the moment to moment game-feel is great. moving, mining and digging out gold feels wonderful, and has me playing for much longer than you'd think considering this is a game without audio and only a handful of enemies
after getting the chance to talk to the developer i really can say this game, as simple as it is, was made by someone who while maybe not very practiced at making games, has a deep understanding of how they work in the abstract, something many developers never learn even as they accrue more and more technical skill
this is a really fun little time sink, with cute art and a lovely presentation and has my full recommendation. my only criticism of it is i'm sad it ran out of juice as soon as it did
i hope to see more from this team in the future
