That's completely fair! As you said, money's tight, and we certainly feel that as well!
We would've liked to put specific prices for the EU and other regions on Itch, but Itch only allows one pricing that has to be in USD, and it adds the tax on top as per US's rules. There isn't much that we can do about that, unfortunately.
