I've been playing this game since last summer, and I never usually leave comments on itch.io, but I really wanted to thank you. You and your team!

I'm a veteran when it comes to otome games featuring yanderes/morally grey characters, and it's been a very long time since I've loved a character as much as I love Shyloh. Beyond the fact that he's obsessed with the MC (which is always exactly what we're looking for in obsessed characters), I find that the fact he does or can do things that hurt the MC (like hitting them) adds something I rarely find anymore in horror/romance visual novels.

Kai is also such an intriguing character — I can't wait to learn more about him and his relationship with the MC, because right now he seems to be the only one who's truly "sane."

I really want to thank you for the quality of your writing. Beyond the romance-focused aspect, the universe surrounding that theme is well-developed and incredibly captivating — something that's honestly rare these days.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to the artists behind the game. From the environments to the character designs and the illustrations — everything is absolutely stunning and has such a unique and pleasant artistic style!

We're so far from a generic universe. I have to say, after playing over 150 visual novels since last year — when I first discovered Chromatic Agape — I always find myself coming back to this one because it left such a mark on me in a way very few visual novels have.

Thank you again to the whole team — please know your work is outstanding, and I'm so excited for the future of this extraordinary visual novel (take all the time you need — we’ll be here, ready, when the full game comes out. In the meantime, we’ll keep enjoying this wonderful demo.)<3

Hi hi Fawn! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely comment. It seriously warms my heart knowing that CA was the first game you felt moved to comment on. And to know you’ve been following along since the beginning of the journey… ahh I’m honestly ded <3

Shyloh and Kai definitely seem to have a strong grip on everyone’s hearts (understandably so, hehe). I really hope I can do them justice in the full routes, especially since Shyloh is my personal favorite too— I’m so soft for the guy, it’s kind of unfair.

I’m also super touched that you enjoyed the worldbuilding! I actually spent a solid couple months deep-diving into the themes I wanted to explore; Greek concepts of love, character name origins to align with their core traits, symbolic elements in the wings/BG/CGs, literature nods, a lot of psych texts to flesh out the more twisted aspects of the cast, etc… I’ve always missed having more nuanced yandere types, so it makes me so happy to know it resonated with you!!!

The artists I work with have been such a gift, they all brought their own magic into the project, and CA truly wouldn’t be what it is without them. I 100% rolled max luck bringing them aboard. LOVE U GUYS FR FR <333

As for the Discord server, I’ve actually held off on creating an official one since I’m juggling a demanding uni program and wouldn’t have the time to manage it properly. That said, if fans ever wanted to make a community server themselves, I wouldn’t be opposed at all— as long as it’s clearly stated as unofficial and stays respectful to the spirit of CA~~
