Rules would be helpful, I think. "a! nanpa mute a!" is immediately unsolvable by standard nonogram rules: [2 1 2 2] requires at least 10 spaces to solve, but it's only an 8x8 grid. Therefore, it cannot be solved like a normal nonogram.
Interesting concept, at least.
