making a video game:  

    difficult

making a great video game: 

     very difficult / very time consuming

making a great ghosts 'n goblins game?

     mostly unheard of.

and indie astaroth is doing it!

everyone on our youtube channel loves loves this game.

we appreciate the game very much

thank you for continued efforts to improve the game and to accept critique and suggestions from the fans;  i feel that is important when making a new classic like this game

instead of mentioning the 307 things this game does well, i just want to mention my just a few of my personal FAN DEMANDS and a few PICKY PREFERENCES

FAN DEMANDS

1   please provide an assignable button to     toggle entire HUD on/off

2  please make stage 9 (dungeon 2) the same color pallette as stage 8!   the awesome green 'dungeon' pallette was only used once

3  i've had a bit of problem with disappearing giants/ogres;  they sometimes vanish and then i collide with them

4  please please put a safety barrier on a NEW game;  asking the player if they are sure they want to erase

PICKY PREFERENCES

1  is there a good trick to the warp doors in   stage 3?  they sometimes work and sometimes do not

2  the hit box for the dragon still eludes me.  i am more scared of the dragon than of the big devils in the castle

3  is there a difference between the shield & the cross?  if not, i suggest both have a bit more further range and the cross could pierce thru objects like ghosts 'n demons

4  many ladders in stage 11 are very sticky

5  just 2 more i-frames please!    or please make  arthur invincible during switch/bridge movements etc
