Oh my....
This was certainly a unique find (and a depressing one), the character designs were so different and beautiful, I applaud you for that.
I'd also like to formally say f*ck you pastor, dmitri and the damned other villagers, damn I hate them so much, they flipping tortured two children just for their own desires....
Besides that, can someone explain ending 2 to me? I'm a bit confused with it. I wish they would have a happy ending where they both escaped together.

Ending 2 is about Nikolai regaining a sense of control of his innate strength and life but its in a violent way, which gets in the way of him achieving the same sort of freedom Alina gets.
I wanted to represent when in reality a wild animal forced into submission has a moment of retaliation, pushed by desperation or an oversight of the human(s) in control. As well as the repercussions of that burst of freedom usually leading the animal to be put down.
