This game is too darn addictive and fun... I made it to wave 42, after too many hours played. Hope the devs will someday make this into a full release!
Anyway here's my tactic:
- Try to get the More Drops upgrade before anything else.
- Get the Faster Object Activation upgrade.
- Get the Slower Enemies upgrade before reaching wave 9, otherwise they'll become exponentially faster.
- Get Ice Sprinklers, Fire Thumper & Ice/Fire Orbitals.
- Once you get More Drops & Slower Enemies ALWAYS prioritize ROF upgrades.
- Delay getting the machine gun's double fire rate upgrade untill you had a few seperate ROF upgrades, this will make the upgrade even more powerful (I think)
- From the beginning, try to pick only Normies, and as many as you can, 20-30 each wave is ideal. This will give you more pickups and allow you to become more of a beast before the speed really picks up. Once you have at least a double sprinkler consider adding some Weirdos as well. Then just play around with the ratio of normies/weirdos/blobs and pray for more ROF upgrades.
I tried lots of stuff, this and a lot of luck is what got me beyond wave 40.
