Some other things you can try are restarting the computer, reinstalling the drivers, re-downloading the game and running system file checker.
I am assuming you're on the Windows version, by the way. Let me know if that isn't the case.
After running DISM, the System File Checker reported that it repaired some files - but i couldn't figure out the details.
After this I restarted the computer, and tried to launch 0.9 and it is working.Thank you for the advices.
