Warning: Another yap session + bonus drawing
It's Milo time! Milo's full name is Milo Luc. His design is a bit normal, but the color ideas I had in mind would remind me of a character I knew, so I went with a simple yellow brown since I don't know any characters with that.
Anyways, Milo is very friendly! He's talkative, a bit loud, stubborn, and a marine animal enthusiast. Moving to Golden Grove for him was a wonderful idea. Partly. Milo is upset because there is no beach, and that's the only thing he dislikes (he hates the smell of chlorine from pools, he only swims at the beach). However, he is very stubborn and determined, and that's often gotten him in trouble (he refused fo sit next to the door because he didn't like seeing people stare at him when they want to enter class). His main problem... is being quiet. He's calm, but because he yells it's often confused with him being hyper,
For him, he likes Qiu romantically. Immediately, he gets along well with Qiu, often believing Qiu since he's gullible at times. Together, they bring chaos to Golden Grove, and it's very hard to predict what they do. Milo, in fact, cannot register how loud he is since he's deaf in the left ear. Qiu often has to remind him to quiet down, and Milo slowly does. If you were to move to his left side and speak, he wouldn't hear you at all, and he will be mad if you do this on purpose.
He does know when to quiet down (only when he believes that someone is annoyed with him), and often will once he sees something he likes (will immediately shout happily when he sees Qiu). He doesn't like certain things like tags on clothes, rough jeans, or mixed vegetables (purely because he spends half his time sorting them by color and eating it in the order of the rainbow). And so, here he is! I'm experimenting by shading just the skin, at least until I can figure out how clothing works.
I did make him like a golden retriever. That was my full intent. And I made the design choice of letting him have a long ponytail. Anyway, here's a bonus picture of Step Two Xipil wearing some cosplay. I also had an idea to where she would gradually lose some yellow as she grew older (not all of it, don't worry).
