I have a theory about this teaser (SPOILER ALERT AHEAD)
The "Neighbor" (or the monkey) is actually your body, and we are playing as our mind/soul. As a game about a science unit studying the embodiment of "sentience", they have tested it on a monkey, taking said mind out of the body to study it. Scientist often test on monkeys, you know. The question on how we are able to move about an dpick up items is a question on its own, but Im not worrying too much about the realism.
But hey, that's JUST A THEORY.
