Hey timpani, fun to hear some timpani! I am getting some grand adventure vibes! I can see a party of adventurers journeying through a forest for sure. I appreciate the layers you have created and how the mix keeps every instrument clear from one another. Also how seamlessly you threaded instruments in and out of melody, counter melody, or harmony between phrases.
About the snare. I am not sure if you come from a drumming background or if this will be helpful but sticking patterns are based on rudiments. There are quite a few of them, I think over 30 but there a few basic ones that can carry anyone composing through most of their music. They are the single stroke roll, diddles (or double stroke roll), paradiddles, flams, and five stroke roll.  You can play with the velocity on digital snares to emulate these sticking patterns to help generate a more organic feel. I do believe some people have made videos explaining the basics of these rudiments. Sorry if this is unsolicited advice but I hope it is helpful! Thanks for sharing!
