As a new fan of this masterpiece, I'm NEVER changing my mind in this.
I'm not cruel as to just appreciate [even a part of] someone's work without being grateful to them as well. I know every VN creator has had their ups and downs to which I still show support in both cases. To this day, many have recovered and are still going strong.
Even now, I shall show no difference in NiiChan's case because I know they will be no exception in comparison to the others so I know they will recover (Sicae's continued development is enough evidence already that they are not quitters so we won't rush them).
I said "as a new fan" because I recently came across their work so I gave my opinion of a part I admired the most, like one normally would if they were the same. I get that there may have been the same opinions as me you may have come across (judging by the "yeah yeah, whatever" part of your comment), but at least let others give their opinions as well (same as they are) without feeling like they're selfish for not going to the Patreon page and offering sympathies before posting their opinions here, as I did.
*sigh* I mocked no one. I just stated that I understand some of NiiChan's pain and to have it known that I am also showing support to another VN creator who may be feeling down right now. I don't know why you think I said you "don't care" about their wellbeing.
If you think I mocked you by telling you that being negative to a new fan of the same thing you're "obsessed with" is not cool, then I suppose I did.
It's cool that you're showing that level of respect for NiiChan with that title. I'd say I also have someone who I'd give that same title to.
Now, would you have liked it if you said all those praises of NiiChan and the first reply is not someone who says something like, "I agree, no one can top NiiChan", but instead, it is a, "yeah yeah, whatever, {inserts a different topic}"?
I didn't mean you don't care about NiiChan. Just don't make it seem like you'd openly disregard others' opinions while supporting NiiChan.
