A lot of things happened, and the funniest thing is that he cut and dyed his hair before all this happened. It was just an unfortunate coincidence that made him look emo.

Interestingly, it was Baxter who gifted Leonard with the black hair dye. In my story Baxter is Leonard's second close friend.
Which is funny, because if Leonard had stayed in Sunset Bird he would have hated Baxter when he met him in Step 3 (OL1)
