I recently had the chance to play a demo of Guardian Realms, an RPG created by a friend of mine, and I have to say, I had a great time with it! The game took about two hours to beat, and it left me genuinely excited for the full release.
The world-building and lore were impressive, but what stood out the most was the design of the environments. One particular highlight for me was Billie land, which quickly became my favorite part of the game for personal reasons even though it's not completely done yet (at the time of writing this review).
The gameplay mechanics were solid, and the combat felt fluid and engaging. The characters were likable, and the quests had enough variety to keep me interested throughout the demo.
All in all, Guardian Realms shows a lot of promise, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the story and world continue to unfold in the full game. CAN I PET DAT DAWG?
